Help with using Greek Letters
This page shows two different ways to display Greek characters in your web page. Only one method works in the Wiki (the Wiki does not allow to directly embed html tags).
Example: to print upper case alpha in the Wiki, use the HTML code Α
In any other web page, you can also use <FONT FACE="Symbol">A</FONT>.
To print upper case Greek letters using this method, just substitute the corresponding upper case "regular" letter in the HTML code area
Some browsers represent only one way, so check your favorite browser(s) before selecting a method.
Of course, you may alter the appearance of the characters (make them bold, larger, smaller, etc.) with the appropriate HTML tags (not in the Wiki).
NOTE:Not all browsers display Greek characters despite the HTML code. WebTV units do not appear to recognize the Greek characters. If you do not see Greek characters in the second column of the table below, your browser does not support such characters.
